It seems like everyone one on the book blogosphere loves a
cup of tea, and to be honest the idea of sitting in on a rainy day with a cuppa,
a book and blanket is my definition of happiness.
I do, however, like a bit of scotch in mine.
Book-wise… I love books and I would be willing to read from
any genre.
I know it is generic to say that and quite similar to when people say
“Oh I love music… like any genre really…. ***except country, trance and death metal.”
On a rule I do tend to avoid 'chick-lit' and throw away paperbacks. Instead I seek out authors who have a way with language and books I can learn something from.
Give me a page full of description and prose and I will devour it like a creamy New York cheesecake with a crumb biscuit base, or a hot cheese scone topped with loads of butter.
I also quite like baking/eating as well.
I am twenty-something female and I live in the UK. This blog offers my honest opinion of any book that comes into my possession.
